That is the million dollar question, isn't it? Do they work? Will they make my heels feel great on my feet? Well let's see how well these inserts worked in my shoes.
As you can see I have a simple pair of high heel pumps chosen for the task at hand. These shoes have almost 4" heels and are size 11. Now I was in luck when I went to the store to buy the insoles. Most of the time the largest size available are 10's. Even though the insoles said they were for size 11 heels, they did not fit that great in the shoe. When I positioned the heel first, the toe section just did not seem to go far enough to provide adequate padding to the ball of my foot.
Once placed into the shoe, they stayed in place. At least the glue they used is not weak. Wearing the heels a little more comfortable on the ball of the foot. I do not think that the arch support did much to support my arch. Nice thought, but alas not that great. The insole does rob some space for the foot, but it was not that much and after walking for a period of time I did not notice it anymore.
So as far as a rating for this insole, I would give it a 8 out of 10. Helped a little with comfort but the fit was not great and the arch support was minimal at best. You can get these insoles at most Walgreens and cost around $ 8.79 a pair.
So till next time, keep strutting those heels! Ciao!
