Sometimes heels can hurt like this!

Do your feet ever feel like the person's foot in the vise does after wearing your killer heels all day? Well I will admit that I have had my share of pain. But I have also found some helpful products that can help keep that pain away and your time in heels s lot sweeter!

As I was putting this together, I tried to gathering pricing and where you can get the products shown to make it easy to find. A few of the items were only found at on store or site, but if you did a little searching I am sure that you would find other sources or maybe even similar products.

Now here is a product that I never knew existed until I saw it listed on another web site. It is called "Men's Grooming Tape" by Vapon. Basically it is a two-side tape (1" x 3" strip) that is used to hold a hair piece in place. So what does that have to do with high heels you ask? If you have a pair of pumps and you are having some trouble keeping your heel in it, take one of these strips, place it in the shoe where your heel sits and put your shoe back on. Your heel will not pull out of the shoe now! You can walk in your heels and when the day is done, pull your shoe off with no problem.

I have used this tape more than once in my shoes that are just a tad to wide at the heel. Kept my heel firmly in the shoe, made walking a heck of a lot easier and I had no issue talking the shoe or the removing the tape.

You can buy this from the Sally Beauty website (https://www.sallybeauty.com/hair/hair-extensions/hair-extension-accessories/topstick-clear-hairpiece-tape/VAPON2.html) or store, for $ 7.99 a roll (1" x 108")

I personally have not tried Dr. Scholl's High Heel Relief insoles but I have talked to others that have. They all say they help to make a pair of heels more comfortable to wear.

Having looked at them in the store, the only concern I can have is that if my heels are just right in terms of fit, adding the insoles would make them feel tight. If you have used them before, drop me a line and let me know if the affected the room inside the heels.

Oh and the largest size I found for the insoles is for a size 10. Now that will not do me much good as I wear between a 11 and 12 size heel.

You can get the insoles at most good shoe stores for around $7.59.

Okay, you just bought a pair of killer heels and they turn out to be killing your feet! What are you to do? Well if you buy a set of shoe stretchers like the one shown above, you may have just found the cure!

I have a set at home that I will use on heels that are just a tad to snug on my foot. I use some of the Shoe Stretch (Foot Matters) first and then put the stretchers in and leave them in for a time. Then try the shoes on again and if still a bit too snug, stretch them one more time.

Using the shoe stretcher can go a long way in making a slightly uncomfortable heel into one that you will feel good in.

The ones shown above and what I have are from Amazon (B&E Life Women High Heel Shoe Stretcher) and cost me $ 19.99.

Well that is part one of how to make your heels a little more comfortable. Stay tuned, Part 2 will be out in a few days!
